Several different types of our rugs are described on this page. They are all wool pile rugs with cotton foundations, as is typical with most oriental rugs.
Persian
These pieces are one-of-a-kind, meaning they are not programmed. (Programmed goods refers to rugs that are available in several different colors and sizes for a given design.) Room size rugs include Kashan, Isfahan, Tabriz, Mashad and Heriz. Runners and small rugs are from the Hamadan region of Iran.
Jaipur
Jaipur, India is known as a rug making center in India. The skilled rug weavers in the area produce high quality rugs in a wide range of colors in designs inspired by centuries old Persian designs and motifs.
Peshawar
These rugs are made in the Peshawar, Pakistan area by Afghani rug weavers. Using handspun wool and vegetal dyes, these weavers produce high quality rugs that resemble the fine antique rugs of years past.
